Real 88 key counterweight balance lead block
In addition to the progressive weight of the keys, the RHIII keyboard also has built-in weight balancing lead blocks in each black and white key.
Like an acoustic piano, these finely balanced weights help to reduce the force required for finger down keys in extremely weak segments, while also obtaining stronger feedback when playing with high force.
Three sensor detection system
The RHIII keyboard uses a three contact sensor key detection system to enhance the authenticity of performance.
The addition of a third touch point improves the responsiveness of homophonic legato, unlike the traditional two touch keyboards used in many digital pianos, which allow the sound of individual notes to gradually "stack" in without causing previously played notes to miss out.
In addition, Kawai's keyboard technology can also detect the homing speed of each key, which will slightly change the timbre characteristics of the keyboard when releasing keys and provide a wider range of performance between staccato and legato.
Imitation ivory texture white key surface
The impressive CN29 is equipped with Kawai's high-quality ivory like white keys. This finely textured material can slightly absorb sweat and oil from the fingertips, helping to control finger movement, and has a natural matte surface that is smooth but not slippery.
In addition, the absorbed hand sweat does not penetrate below the surface of the keys and can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Escape simulation device
The RHIII keyboard reproduces the "escapement device" characteristics of acoustic piano movements.
This subtle 'jerky' feeling can be felt when playing the grand piano keyboard very gently, and can be used by experienced pianists to play extremely weak passages with control.
