Triangle Piano Expression Modeling
The interaction between the hammers, mufflers, and strings within the grand piano responds and rewards the pianist's subtle differences, creating a rich sound expression. Touch key refers to the pianist's control over the down and down keys, not only the strength (softness/loudness) of the fingers, but also the speed and depth of the keys. The facial expression modeling of the grand piano introduced in the CLP-700 series converts the various motion inputs of the performer's fingers into rich sound changes similar to the grand piano.
This allows the performer to change the output by playing the keys at different depths and speeds, even when playing tremolo or legato or highlighting melody in accompaniment. Triangle piano expression modeling excels in faithfully reproducing the expressions of these performance techniques in many famous works. In Debussy's "Moonlight", gentle touch of keys creates a hazy sound, creating a cleaner and more distinct melody. In Liszt's "Sigh", the accompanying arpeggios emphasize the melody but do not dominate, and the different expressions of the melody endow it with singing qualities. In Chopin's final nocturne, vibrato, legato, and other delicate techniques, fingers seem to float on the keys, conveying a dynamic and smooth sound expression. Playing such a work on a highly expressive piano can help piano players learn and experience various techniques, and experience the pleasure of expressing themselves like a painter - but through sound.
