Sound Source
The Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source delivers an extensive array of exquisitely detailed and expressive tones, capturing the essence of a grand piano with rich acoustic resonances. Each of the 88 keys produces unique overtones and complex body resonances, faithfully recreating the lush and vivid piano sound. The tone evolves subtly over time, responding to every nuance of the player’s technique, from delicate touches to powerful, dynamic performances.
Sound System
Casio's advanced Spatial Sound System utilizes four independently driven full-range speakers, filling your performance space with immersive sound. The speaker support structure, made from a durable wood/resin composite, enhances sound clarity. The outer speakers feature Side Enhancing Diffusers, delivering a wider soundstage despite the piano’s compact design. The Surround function adjusts the output of each speaker to create a natural, expansive listening experience, with three selectable modes for different spatial effects. The Hall Simulator/Reverb function simulates the acoustic properties of concert halls and other performance spaces, adding a realistic sense of depth and presence. The Piano Position function optimizes sound distribution based on the piano’s placement, whether on a stand, near a wall, in the center of the room, or on a table.
Tones
With 350 built-in tones, including acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, and more, you have a vast palette of sounds to choose from. The collection also includes meticulously crafted electric piano tones inspired by iconic hit songs. Additionally, 100 built-in DSP effects allow you to add even more character and variety to your performances.
Pedals
The PX-S6000 comes equipped with an SP-3 damper pedal, a must-have for achieving authentic piano performance. For even greater expressive possibilities, the separately available SP-34 three-pedal unit features a continuously controlled damper pedal, allowing for nuanced variations in sound depending on the pressure and duration of your pedal movements.
Note: Connect the included SP-3 pedal to the EXPRESSION/ASSIGNABLE jack, and the optional SP-34 three-pedal unit to the PEDAL UNIT jack for optimal performance.
Real-Time Control
The PX-S6000 offers two assignable knobs for intuitive real-time control over parameters such as filter cutoff frequency, resonance, attack and release times, as well as DSP effect settings. An assignable CONTROL button enables on-the-fly tone adjustments while playing. The Pitch Bend Wheel allows you to seamlessly raise or lower the pitch of the notes, adding dynamic expression to your performance. Additionally, a commercially available expression pedal can be connected and assigned to control various tone parameters in real time, further enhancing your creative capabilities.
